Join hands to support girl child education In India

In a male dominated country like India, the situation of girls has never been encouraging. Even today, almost after 70 years of independence, girls are seen as mere burdens. The skewed sex ratio prevailing in many parts of the country is one of the offshoots of this mindset.  It is unfortunate to mention here that there are just 918 girls in India for 1000 boys (2011 census).

Boys are willingly offered multiple facilities which girls crave for their entire life and it almost remain unfulfilled. From early childhood, girls are considered to be confined to the four walls of the household and they are given limited or no opportunity to learn and grow in life.

NGOs working in the field of child education and girl child care can play pivotal role in shaping the society. In this endeavor the role of the government also becomes very important. Because by releasing necessary funds and backing several initiatives taken by Child Education NGO and Girl child education NGO in India, government can provide necessary help desired since ages.

Not all understand that to run and progress as a collective force, it is important to save and educate girls. The concept of women empowerment can’t be para-dropped from top. It needs to start from the grass roots level.

Let’s understand that a girl of today is woman of tomorrow. And if girls of our society are not fed nutritious food, not given thorough education, not helped financially, and not helped to become healthy how can women of tomorrow assist in producing a healthy society.

Girl child education is the only solution of all problems faced by girls. NGOs who work tirelessly for saving children and educating girls need to be backed wholeheartedly. Support them in whatever manner you can. Sponsor a child to avail an opportunity of playing a constructive role in child education and women empowerment.

Step ahead and create the chain of progress. Your contribution is valuable. Make it countable as well.

Educate girl child to break all barriers

A general perception prevailing across the country emphasizes on ‘no one should be left out of education campaign running across the country’. But there is a glaring gap between mission, motive and reality.
As of now only those sections of the society is part of education spree which has tasted the fruits of freedom in the true sense. This can be easily experienced in those regions where technological advancement is yet to reach.

The places which are struggling to get the basic amenities are yet to take part in the broader development agendas of all governments in which education becomes an important subject. To fill this gap NGOs are playing inevitable role.

NGOs situated in Delhi NCR are especially working tirelessly to help poor children get educated. They are also fighting several battles to put a final full stop on child labor. There are some specific NGOsworking for child labor only. They have succeeded in making this issue a prominent one, to be discussed in important forums.

The situation of children is so pathetic that it needs immediate attention. And to improve this only one solution is there and that is to educate them. Just recall the words of Nelson Mandela who once said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”

And to use this weapon well another important quote comes in the mind which needs to be mentioned here. Brigham Young-“You educate a man; you educate a man. You educate a woman; you educate a generation.”

Child labor and the education of poor children needs years of constant efforts and even in this mission, larger emphasis should be given on supporting girl’s education which will have long term positive impact.

Let’s help NGOs for child labor. Let’s pledge to support girls education and to those who are working in this mission. This will improve the prevailing situation and if you still feel shy of doing this, remain ready for worse days to face, because a nation can’t progress if its major portion remains out of this campaign.
